I'm running for Richmond City Council because I want the interest of residents of the 8th District heard and responded to. It is my intent to bring a high level of trust and respect to the role of City Council representative for the district. I will make sure all sides of matters in the district are heard, pros and cons. Give all consideration and take steps to promote those residents support that will bring facilities, services, programs, and activities that they want and need. I will work to pull together residents, non-profits, the private sector, the academic community, and government. Leveraging these resources to bring about results that make a meaningful difference in this historically marginalized area. I will champion fiscal accountability to insure the City is being the best steward it can be of tax dollars. I will be committed to making the 8th District a vibrant community that is a great place to live, work, learn, play, visit, and raise a family.
